In preparation for joining Baynk on his North America Tour, Ark Patrol gives us a “precursor to the full project” in “Darling, you can’t walk away.” An alternative electronic gem, the Hawaiian native incoporates distorted synths, a head-bobbing electronic rock beat and channels xxyyxx and the black keys to create a new track that is “something new yet familiar.” Check it out below.

Darling, You Can't Walk Away ~ "To me, Darling [...] is Ark Patrol - a song featuring sampled vocals, an unorthodox electronic rock beat, distorted synths and a guitar that dances and crescendos into one grand finale. I feel it’s the heart of what I do." Stay tuned for more ~ instagram.com/arkpatrol facebook.com/arkpatrol twitter.com/arkpatrol youtube.com/arkpatrol

Opening immediately with the infectious vocal sample, Ark Patrol wastes no time getting to the meat of the track, a funky synth line melody with wandering guitar notes floating around it. The driving melody has feet tapping and whisks away minds following the guitar notes wandering about. ark patrol continuously builds the track to the 1:50 mark as he lets it all go, incorporating an atmospheric synth line complimenting the power bass line added at the same time.

After a 9 month hiatus from releasing any music due to battling cancer, Ark Patrol is back again releasing 2 tracks in the past two weeks that show a new side to the producer. moving towards a more instrumental core, “Darling, you can’t walk away” has an air of ease about it, something that the older tracks seem to forgo. Even after the hiatus, the seattle producer continues to create original, boundary pushing material.
